Following the good news that William Chalmers has been selected for North Of England Egg Chasers 7s U15s, he and teammate, Aodan Furness, have been selected for the First Stage of the Scotland North of England Pathway. Like Chalmers, Furness has been a part of the club since U8s.

To be Scottish Qualified (SQ) a player needs a Scottish parent or grandparent. Age grades are by calendar year. Selection is after attending training sessions open to any SQ player. There are three stages of selection. This is the first. So both players will be working hard to be selected for stages two and three. There is nothing to stop players attending England and Scottish sessions if selected. The English process is different and currently by selection only.
