Colin and Jimmy were both life members at DMP, having each made over 100 1st XV appearances for the club. They will be sorely missed by everyone here at Darlington Mowden Park.

Dave Pike, pictured here, was a dear friend of both Colin and Jimmy: “How do you start to write something about my two friends who played together for 20-30 years. We were the front row for Darlington Grammar School Old Boys and then Mowden Park for another 20 years. Colin started playing for the Old Boys before me, and Jimmy joined from the RA some time later. Colin was always super fit and ready to go; you could always rely on him to give his all and even a bit more when necessary. Jimmy was the same, and kept going for more than 80 minutes.

On behalf of everyone at the club and both families, we'd like to thank everyone to attended both funerals in recent weeks. The outpouring of support has been a great comfort to the families, and they would like to acknowledge their appreciation at such a difficult time.
