Over the summer the DMP "Lizzies" first team took part in the Durham County festival, with teams playing touch and contact. The ladies are currently focusing on their touch team and entered all three events at Horden, Hartlepool and Durham. The team fought hard and came a close 2nd at Horden, learnt and grew from their experience and battled to win at Hartlepool with the sun shining. Finally at Durham with very wet conditions some very tight games against clubs that had larger teams, the win could have been anyones but the ladies managed to pull it out of the bag for a win. rounding the afternoon off some of our girls section won the scavenger hunt adding more points to our total meaning over all three festivals the DMP Lizzies were overall winners for touch.

We had an amazing experience and met some great teams.

The Ladies have entered the Thornton Hickeys Ladies Touch Winter League and Durham County Under the Lights this season. Fixtures are below, it would be great to have your support.

The ladies consist of players 16 +,but train with us from u15 to gain experience. No experience or fitness necessary there is a place for everyone.

Sunday - 1.30 - 3pm

Ladies - U15 + training / U16 + games - Thursday - 7.30 - 8.30pm

Mixed Touch & Skills - 11+ Monday - 6 - 8pm
