A skilful and fiery scrumhalf, Tim hails from Sydney’s northern beaches and was a product of Knox Grammer School. The former schoolboy prodigy has been on the cusp of Super Rugby having previously been a member of the Australian Schoolboys, Australian under 20s and Melbourne Rebels wider training group.

Coach Garry Law said of Duchesne’s arrival: “We are pleased that we have managed to acquire the services of Tim for next season.

“Tim has played to a good level in Australia before having a short stint with Northampton Saints at the end of last season.

“We are looking forward having Tim over and competing with the other nine's in the squad. Competition for places can only bring the best of the players."

Delighted to have sealed his move to Mowden Park Duchesne said: “I have heard a lot of positive things from people within the English Rugby community about Mowden Park. These things I believe are very much a perfect fit for myself.

“This includes a quality playing group with outstanding facilities and coaching.”
