Darlington Mowden Park are delighted to announce the signing of Carl Guest ahead of the upcoming National One season. The former Hartpury prop becomes the club's sixth new arrival of the summer, following on from fellow prop Josh Crickmay. Asked about his move to the North East, the 23 year-old commented: “I look forward to getting started at DMP. It’s been a while with no rugby, so just really excited for the opportunity and to pull on the shirt and do the club and fans proud.”

The young front rower joins the club having represented Hartpury University prior to the 2019/20 league season being curtailed due to COVID. Asked about the latest signing, DMP Director of Rugby Garry Law added: "We're happy to bring Carl on board for next season. He is a young physical tight head prop who is looking to really push on and test himself in National 1 rugby."
