The format for the festival is detailed below:
Date: Saturday 26th November 2016
Venue: Northern Echo Arena, Darlington, DL2 1DL
Time: 10am – 2pm (to be confirmed once entries are received). Mowden Park 1st XV National One game vs Esher kicks off at 3pm.
Price: £30 per team
Age categories: U7-U9
Entries: First come, first served
Deadline for entry: 18th November 2016

The competition will follow the New Rules of Play Re: Age Grade Rugby.

The price per team includes:
• Entry into the Minis Rugby Festival running from 10am until 2pm (TBC upon receiving entries)
• 1 x free U16 ticket and 1 x free Adult ticket per child participating in the festival for the 1st XV game (Additional adults will need to pay £5).
• A team photo as a souvenir to take away from the day.
• All teams who stay for the game will take part in a parade on the pitch at half time.
• There will also be an opportunity for a chosen “player of the tournament” to be the mascot for the 1st XV game.
• A team displaying good sportsmanship will be chosen to take part in the guard of honour for the 1st XV game also.
• Referees will be provided.

Fixtures will be sent out the week of the competition so teams can familiarise themselves with the timings. We will also provide a map – illustrating the layout of the pitches, changing rooms, toilets, access to teas and coffees for parents/spectators.
