Darlington Mowden Park have today announced a new partnership with ManHealth Darlington. ManHealth is a Community Interest Company based in County Durham providing peer support for men suffering depression and other mental and physical health issues. Founded in 2016, they provide a wide range of support for men’s physical and mental health concerns.
ManHealth have sponsored the club's Round 18 clash against Richmond on Saturday 10th February, and will have volunteers on site to spread awareness of their work in the local community.
Asked about the new partnership, DMP Community Manager Carl Guest said: "We're proud to be working with ManHealth this season. Chris and the team do some incredible work in the local community and we're pleased to play a small part in that going forward."
ManHealth are also a charity partner of this year’s CEO Sleepout Darlington, taking place at the Arena on Monday 13th November. Three of our own staff will be taking part in the event, as Mick Birch, Danny Brown and Tom Bulmer will all be at the Arena to raise funds for ManHealth and a number of outstanding local charities. You can donate online here.
Chris Underwood from ManHealth added: “We are proud to be working with DMP and feel that it is a great way to reach many men that attend the ground.”
“Working together we can make a difference.”
