Darlington Mowden Park RFC are thrilled to announce a renewed partnership with principal sponsors SG Petch. Having supported the club since the move to the Arena in 2013, SG Petch now go into their 10th season as club sponsors. Asked about the continued partnership, DMP Chairman Mick Birch commented: “We’re absolutely delighted that SG Petch have extended their sponsorship of the club. As I’m sure all of our members and supporters are aware, SG Petch has become an integral part of the Mowden Family over the last decade and we're hugely grateful for their support. Simon and Andrew have played a huge role in helping the club to grow in recent years, and we very much look forward to working with them for many more years to come.”

As principal sponsors, SG Petch have been instrumental in supporting the club both on and off the field over the last 10 years. More recently the partnership has seen the creation of Roland’s Ride, a charity cycling event that has raised over £15,000 for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) charities since 2019. The event is set to return for its fifth edition this summer, with details to be announced very soon.

More recently the partnership has seen the launch of the SG Petch x7s, with the inaugural tournament coinciding with this year’s edition of Roland’s Ride in June. Sixteen teams took part across both the boys and girls U14s categories, and the club is looking to expand the competition for 2024 with the ongoing support from SG Petch.
