U6 and u7s were back in action on the fields Carmel School today following the recent cancellations with snow and the occasional indoor session. A strong wind failed to defeat the enthusiasm of our youngsters and once again large numbers turned up. We had our usual mix of fun games such as Bulldog and Stuck-in-the-Mud and our 4v4 Tag Rugby matches and everyone was on top form. Particular mention to the commitment of all players when defending and taking tags.

For the u7s support play in attack continues to improve every week under the guidance of Coach Warren Young

The u6s maintain their improvement as they develop new skills with Head Coach Tony Cater. Once again they were able to welcome a new face to their session and new players are always welcome to come along any Sunday morning.

Parents are reminded that under-6 and under-7 sessions run from 10.00 – 11.30am at Carmel School unless informed otherwise via the website.
