DMPRFC has in excess of 70 active coaches. All Coaches at DMPRFC adhere to the followiing:

1. All coaches are Club Members.

2. All coaches will have agreed to adhere to the Club Coaching Code of Conduct

3. All coaches will have attended a 'Rugby Ready' training course (the pre requisite course that is done before completing the Level 1 Course).

4. All coaches have completed enhanced CRB checks specific to DMPRFC.

Each team has an RFU Level 1 qualified coach and the Mini and Junior section have various RFU Level 2 qualified coaches spread throughout the teams. The Mens and Ladies sections are headed up by a RFU Level 3 qualified coaches and are supported by an array of RFU Level 1 and 2 coaches.

Each team has at least one coach who is qualified in first aid and Safeguarding and Protecting Young Persons.

The RFU provide many resources and training course to help in the development of coaches.
